- Start with a fractured(+3 projectil skills) Gloam Amulet. Use Chaos Orbs until you hit the prefix
+46 to Spirit. - Use an Ancient Collarbone
+ Omen of Dextral Necromancy
+ Omen of the Blackblooded
+ Omen of Abyssal Echoes until you hit any tier of
% increased Minion Damage(a suffix). - Use an Omen of Homogenising Exaltation + Perfect Exalted Orb. Because the item has the "Damage" tag from the Minion Damage mod, this is guaranteed to add a new damage-tagged suffix, which will be either Critical Strike Chance or Critical Damage Bonus.
- Use a second Omen of Homogenising Exaltation + Perfect Exalted Orb. With two damage mods now on the item, this is guaranteed to add the remaining Critical Strike suffix.
- use an omen of light + annul. This will remove the
% increased Minion Damage - You now have the core amulet with your desired
+3 projectile skills,+46 spiritprefixes and two crit suffixes.
Step 3: Finishing the Amulet
The final step is to add Global Defences and a final suffix.
- Add Global Defences: Use a Perfect Essence of Enhancement. This will remove a random modifier and add
(20-30)% increased Global Defences. It will most likely remove one of your crit suffixes. - Restore the Crit Suffix: Don't worry. Use an Omen of Homogenising Exaltation + Perfect Exalted Orb. Because your item still has one crit suffix, this is guaranteed to add the other one back.
- Add the Final Suffix: Use the
Omen of Dextral Necromancy+Omen of the Blackblooded+Ancient Collarbonecombination to add a high-tier Kurgal resistance suffix(or other suffix you like). - You now have a near-perfect poe2 deadeye amulet.
Key Crafting Steps Explained
- Why use a Gloam Amulet? This special base can only have two prefixes. This is crucial for step 2.3, where we force the
+3 Projectileprefix to appear because there are no other available prefix slots for the Omen to choose from. - Why get
% Minion Damage? This is a clever trick to add the "Damage" tag to the item. This tag allows us to useOmen of Homogenising Exaltationto deterministically add the two Critical Strike suffixes. - Why use the Perfect Essence of Enhancement last? It's a great defensive prefix. Even if it removes one of our valuable crit suffixes, we can easily restore it using the Omen trick one last time, making it a very safe final step.
For Perfectionists: If your crit mods are not T1, you can use an
Omen of Dextral Erasure+ Annulment Orb to remove them and then repeat the Omen + Exalted Orb steps. This is very expensive but is an option for crafting a truly perfect item.
