How to Craft a +4 Minion Sceptre for Under 2 Divines
In Path of Exile 2 Patch 0.4.0, the removal of the Omen of Homogenising Exaltation has made it difficult to "guarantee" specific outcomes when slamming Exalted Orbs.
However, summoners still need a powerful weapon to push end-game content. By utilizing Fracturing Orbs and a careful combination of Omens, we can still craft a "God-Tier" Sceptre with +4 Minion Gem Levels, High Spirit, and High Minion Damage.
Here is the final result we are aiming for:
🛠️ Crafting Materials
Ensure you have the following materials. This method relies on "locking" your best mod first.

🛠️ Step-by-Step Crafting Guide
This process prioritizes securing your Prefixes (Gem Level, Spirit, Damage) first.
Step 1: Fracture the Gem Level
- Buy a Sceptre with +4 to Level of all Minion Skills.
- Use a Fracturing Orb.
- Goal: Fracture the +4 Minion modifier. If you fail (and fracture a bad mod), you must start over with a new base. This is the most expensive step, but it guarantees the core of the item.
Step 2: Isolate the Fracture
Use Orbs of Annulment.
- Goal: Reduce the item until it has only the Fractured +4 Minion modifier (and possibly one other random mod if you are using Chaos Orbs next).
Step 3: Roll for Damage or Spirit
Spam Chaos Orbs on the item.
- Target: You are looking for a high-tier Prefix.
- Goal: Hit Tier 1/Tier 2 Minions deal increased Damage OR Tier 1/Tier 2 + to Spirit.
- Once you hit one of these high-tier prefixes, stop.
Step 4: The Targeted Exalt
Now we attempt to add the second high-tier Prefix.
- Apply Omen of Sinistral Exaltation.
- Use a Greater Exalted Orb (or standard Exalt).
- Goal: We hope to hit the mod we didn't get in Step 3. (e.g., If you have Damage, we want Spirit).
- Check: Ensure you still have 1 open Prefix slot after this step for the Unveil.
Step 5: The Unveil (The Finisher)
If Step 4 was successful (e.g., you now have Spirit and Damage), we add the final Prefix.
- Apply Omen of Sinistral Necromancy.
- Use a Preserved Jawbone.
- Unveil the modifier.
- Goal: We are looking for + to Spirit (if you don't have it) or Minion Damage/Life Hybrid.
- Success: You now have 3 strong Prefixes: +4 Level, Spirit, and Damage.
Step 6: Recovery (If needed)
If the Unveil in Step 5 is bad, or if the Exalt in Step 4 failed:
- Use an Orb of Annulment.
- Pray: Hope you remove the bad mod and not your rolled Spirit/Damage.
- If you save the base, go back to Step 5 (or Step 4). If you annul the good rolled mod, go back to Step 3.
Step 7: Finish the Suffixes
Once your Prefixes are perfect, the hard part is over.
- Use Greater Exalted Orbs to fill the empty Suffix slots.
- Look for useful stats like Minion Attack/Cast Speed, Cast Speed, or Resistances.
Optional Part: Crafting a +5 Skill Level Sceptre(if +4 minion not fractured)
If your final exalted orb slam in Part A resulted in very high tiers of % Minion Damage and % Spirit, and you're feeling lucky, you can try to push your sceptre to the next level.
- Use the combination of a
Divine Orb+Omen of Sanctification. - The Omen of Sanctification causes the Divine Orb to reroll the values of your item's modifiers within a -20% to +20% range.
- If +4 Minion Skill level is rolled to 13% or higher, the game will round the
+4up to a+5. - This would give you a legendary +5 to minion skill level sceptre, one of the best possible weapons for a poe2 minion build. This is a high-risk, high-reward gamble for true endgame perfection.

Crafting a +4 sceptre for your summoner build isn't a matter of luck; it's a matter of process.
