Step 1: Preparing Your Materials
This craft is about volume, so you'll want to gather enough materials to craft multiple chests at once.

Step 2: The Crafting Process

Use a Perfect Orb of Transmutation and Perfect Orb of Augmentation. Your goal is to roll a magic item with two specific mods:
- One T1/T2 defensive prefix (e.g.,
% increased Evasion and Energy Shield). - One high-tier resistance suffix (e.g.,
+ to Fire Resistance).
3. Upgrade to Rare
Use the combo of Perfect Regal Orb + Omen of Homogenising Coronation. This will upgrade the item to rare. Because your item already has a "Defence" prefix and a "Resistance" suffix, the Omen will guarantee the new mod is also either a Defence prefix or a Resistance suffix.
4. Fill the Prefixes
Use the combo of Greater Exalted Orb + Omen of Homogenising Exaltation + Omen of Sinistral Exaltation. This will add a new prefix.
- Note: If your Regal Orb in the previous step added a suffix, you will need to also include an
Omen of Greater Exaltationhere to add two prefixes instead of one.
5. Fill the Suffixes
Use the combo of Greater Exalted Orb + Omen of Homogenising Exaltation + Omen of Greater Exaltation. This will add two new suffixes.
- Note: If your Regal Orb in step 3 added a prefix, you do not need the
Omen of Greater Exaltationhere, as you only need to add two suffixes.
You have now completed your hybrid body armour.

- How do you guarantee the starting mods on a white base? You don't. This is a bulk-crafting strategy. The idea is to buy many cheap white bases and roll them in volume. With enough attempts, you will naturally hit the desired combination of starting mods. Always factor in the cost of your bases.
- What if my magic base already has Deflection? If you are lucky enough to roll the powerful
Deflectionmod as a suffix on your magic base, you can still proceed. However, when you fill the suffixes in step 5, you will be relying more on luck to hit the resistances you need.
