🛠️ Method 1: The Suffix-Start Strategy

Best for: When you find a base with a Fractured Resistance (Tier 2+).

Step 1: Base Selection

Buy a Sleek Jacket (Item Level 81+) with Fractured Tier 2 (or higher) Resistance.

Step 2: Rolling the First Prefix

Spam Chaos Orbs until you hit ONE of the following Tier 1 Prefixes:

Step 4: The Unveil (Third Prefix)

1. Apply Omen of Sinistral Necromancy.
2. Use a Preserved Rib.
3. Apply Omen of Abyssal Echoes (Safety).
4. Unveil the Prefix.

• Goal: Unveil the final Tier 1 Defense mod (usually the Hybrid Flat or %Inc).
• Result: You now have 3x T1 Defense Prefixes and 1x Fractured Suffix.

Step 5 & 6: Finishing Suffixes (Whittling Tech)

1. Use Perfect Exalted Orb to add a suffix.
2. Target: Tier 2+ Elemental or Chaos Resistance.
3. The Fix: If you hit a bad suffix (e.g., Life Regen), apply Omen of Whittling + Perfect Chaos Orb. This will reroll the suffixes (and potentially prefixes values) to help you fish for Resistances without removing the mod slots. Alternatively, Annul and re-slam.
4. Repeat for the final Suffix slot. Good alternatives to Res are:
   • "Faster start of Energy Shield Recharge"
   • "Gain Deflection Rating equal to 22% of Evasion Rating"

Step 7: Final Quality

Use a Vaal Infuser.

Spam Chaos Orbs until you hit Tier 1 Flat (+ to) Evasion and Energy Shield (or the Hybrid mod).

Step 3: Targeted Slam

• Goal: Hit the remaining T1 Defense Prefix.
• Fail: Annul and retry.

Step 4: Finding Resistances

• Alternative: If you miss, you can force it using Omen of Dextral Crystallisation + Essence of the Abyss (or similar) + Preserved Rib to Unveil a Resistance.

Step 5 & 6: Cleaning and Finishing

If you have bad suffixes:

1. Apply Omen of Whittling + Perfect Chaos Orb.

• This effectively "re-rolls" the item while keeping the mod structure, giving you multiple chances to turn a bad suffix into a Resistance or Utility mod.

2. Continue slamming Perfect Exalted Orbs until all 3 Suffixes are high-tier Resistances or Utility.

Step 7: Final Quality

Use a Vaal Infuser to maximize the base stats.
