How to Craft 5 mods Minion Sapphire Jewel in PoE2(0.5.0)
Background
This craft is for minion builds that want a premium Sapphire jewel with a protected minion critical modifier, a full suffix package, and a suffix-effect prefix at the end.
The starting base is not a blank jewel. Buy a Sapphire jewel that already has perfect or near-perfect rolls for both Minions have increased Critical Hit Chance and Minions have increased Critical Damage Bonus. Then use a Fracturing Orb and keep the item only if one of those two modifiers becomes fractured.
If the fracture hits anything else, treat the jewel as a failed base. The rest of the craft assumes one valuable minion critical modifier is locked.

This route is not gentle. You buy an expensive start, brick most failed fractures, and spend the rest of the craft protecting the suffix plan.
Why This Craft Matters
Minion builds scale very well from jewel suffixes. Critical hit chance, critical damage bonus, and attack speed all work together. The suffix-effect finish is strong only because those suffixes are already valuable.
The craft also has a useful control point. After the third suffix is finished, every Chaos Orb in Step 7 is used to work on prefixes. That is where you fish for increased maximum Energy Shield and increased Minion Damage.
This is still expensive. Fracturing Orb, Desecration, Omens, liquids, and prefix fishing can all eat currency quickly. Set a stop price before you begin.

Crafting Workflow
Step 1: Buy the Perfect Two-Crit Jewel
Goal: start from the two rare suffixes.
Buy a Sapphire jewel with full or near-full rolls for both Minions have increased Critical Hit Chance and Minions have increased Critical Damage Bonus.
Do not start from a white jewel. This route buys the hard suffix pair first, then tries to lock one of them with a fracture.
Why this works: the craft needs one perfect minion critical modifier protected before the Chaos phase begins.
Step 2: Fracture One Minion Critical Modifier
Goal: lock Minions have increased Critical Hit Chance or Minions have increased Critical Damage Bonus.
Use a Fracturing Orb. Keep the jewel only if it fractures one of the two minion critical modifiers.
If the fracture hits any other modifier, the base is a failure for this route. Sell it as a failed item or treat it as scrap.
Why this works: the fractured critical modifier stays protected while you use Chaos Orb to rebuild the other important suffix.
Step 3: Chaos Orb for the Other Critical Modifier
Goal: restore the second minion critical suffix.
Use Chaos Orb until the jewel rolls the other minion critical modifier. If Minions have increased Critical Hit Chance is fractured, fish for Minions have increased Critical Damage Bonus. If critical damage is fractured, fish for critical hit chance.
Stop once the second critical modifier is good enough. Do not chase a perfect roll if the price of attempts is already close to buying another base.
Why this works: the fractured modifier gives you a fixed anchor. The Chaos step is still random, but it cannot remove the fractured value.
Step 4: Add Two Prefixes With Exalted Orbs
Goal: prepare the item for the liquid step.
Use Exalted Orb twice to add two prefix modifiers. These prefixes do not need to be final. They are setup modifiers for the next part of the craft.
If the item cannot take two prefixes, stop and inspect it before clicking more currency.
Why this works: Potent Liquid Contempt removes a random modifier and adds a crafted allowed-modifier result. You want the item set up so the suffix route can continue.
Step 5: Use Potent Liquid Contempt for +1 Allowed Suffix
Goal: hit the allowed-suffix result.
Use Potent Liquid Contempt. The desired result is +1 allowed Suffix/Prefix Modifier.
If it gives +1 allowed Prefix Modifier, recover by using Orb of Annulment until the item is back down to the fractured critical modifier. Then return to Step 3 and Chaos for the other minion critical modifier again.
Why this works: this craft needs another suffix slot. The prefix version does not help this route, so it is better to strip the failed setup and restart from the fractured base.
Step 6: Desecrate With Preserved Cranium
Goal: add the third useful suffix.
Use Preserved Cranium to Desecrate the rare Sapphire jewel. Keep Omen of Abyssal Echoes active for the reveal, so you can reroll the Desecrated modifier options once.
The desired result is Minions have increased Attack and Cast Speed or minion stun threshold modifier.
If the decrypt misses, use Omen of Light with Orb of Annulment to remove only the Desecrated modifier. Then Desecrate and decrypt again.
Why this works: Preserved Cranium is the jewel Desecration material. Omen of Abyssal Echoes does not guarantee the correct modifier, but it gives one extra roll at the revealed options before you commit. If the final result still misses, Omen of Light lets the recovery target the Desecrated modifier instead of tearing apart the whole jewel.
Step 7: Chaos Orb the Prefixes
Goal: hit increased maximum Energy Shield and increased Minion Damage.
Use Chaos Orb after the suffixes are finished. At this point the suffix side has three modifiers, so each Chaos attempt is used to work on the prefix side.
You are looking for useful Energy Shield and minion damage prefixes. Stop when both prefixes are good enough for the target budget.
Why this works: the full suffix side is the control. Since the suffixes are already occupied, Chaos rerolling becomes the prefix-fishing step for this item.
Step 8: Finish With Potent Liquid Ferocity
Goal: add the prefix that scales the suffix package.
Use Potent Liquid Ferocity at the end. The desired result is the prefix modifier that gives increased effect of Suffix Modifiers.
Do not use this too early. It is worth using only after the suffix package is already strong and the prefixes are acceptable.
Why this works: suffix effect is the final multiplier. It is not a repair tool. It turns a good finished suffix package into the premium version.
