How to Farm Omen of Light Efficiently in 0.3.0
Welcome, Exile. The Omen of Light is one of the most valuable Omens in Path of Exile 2's 0.3.0 patch, often selling for 4-5 Divine Orbs. Its power to safely remove Desecrated modifiers makes it essential for high-end crafting.
This guide will show you a specific strategy to farm Omen of Light by targeting a unique Abyss monster modifier and amplifying its drops with Azmeri Spirits. If you get lucky, you can potentially drop 3-4 Omens of Light from a single monster!
The Core Strategy: Amanamu's Void + Azmeri Spirits
The entire strategy revolves around finding Abyss monsters belonging to the Amanamu faction that have the modifier "Amanamu's Void".

Monsters with this modifier have a special loot table. They are guaranteed to drop Omens from a specific pool: Omen of the Sovereign, Omen of Abyssal Echoes, or the highly sought-after Omen of Light.
We will then massively boost the quantity of drops from these specific monsters using high Item Rarity and stacking Azmeri Spirits.
Step 1: Setting Up Your Maps
To maximize your chances, you need to run maps specifically set up for Abyss encounters and Azmeri Spirits.
- Waystone: Use a Waystone with the explicit modifier "Area is overrun by the Abyssal". This guarantees Abyss encounters in your map.

- Tablet: Use Tablets that add Extra Rare Monsters and Azmeri Spirits to the map. More rare monsters mean more chances for Abyss rares, and more Spirits mean bigger loot explosions.

Step 2: Character and Atlas Setup
Your character and Atlas tree need to support this strategy:
- Character Gear:
- Aim for around 200% Increased Item Rarity (IIR). More rarity significantly increases the chance of Omens dropping.
- High Defenses: You need strong resistances, high Life/ES, and good recovery. This strategy requires you to keep specific monsters alive while you gather Spirits, which puts immense pressure on your survivability.
- Controlled Damage: Avoid builds that instantly kill everything off-screen. You need to be able to identify the target monster before it dies.
- Atlas Passive Tree: Allocate points to maximize the chance of encountering Azmeri Spirits and increase their effect. Focus on all nodes related to Spirits.

Step 3: The Farming Process
Now for the in-map execution. This requires patience and attention to detail:
- Identify the Abyss Faction: When an Abyss encounter starts, hover your mouse over the elite monsters. The tooltip will show if they belong to the Kulemak, Ulaman, or Amanamu faction. You are only interested in Amanamu. If it's not Amanamu, simply complete the Abyss normally.
- Scout for Spirits (If Amanamu): If the faction is Amanamu, proceed through the map but DO NOT pick up any Azmeri Spirits you encounter yet. Remember their locations.
- Find the "Void" Monster: Continue clearing the map, specifically looking for Amanamu rare monsters. You need to find one with the "Amanamu's Void" modifier. These monsters have a distinct visual effect: a swirling black vortex around them.

- Lure the Spirits: Once you find the "Void" monster, keep it alive. Now, backtrack through the map and carefully lure all the Azmeri Spirits you previously scouted onto the target monster. Stack as many Spirits as possible onto it.
- Kill and Loot: Once the monster is fully empowered by the Spirits, kill it. With high IIR and many Spirit buffs, it has a high chance of dropping multiple Omens, including the valuable Omen of Light.
Summary: High Effort, High Reward
Farming Omen of Light using this method requires significant preparation and careful execution in each map. It takes time to set up your character, roll the right maps, and execute the Spirit-luring process correctly.
However, the potential rewards are enormous. Successfully killing a fully empowered "Amanamu's Void" monster can feel like opening a jackpot. When those valuable Omens drop, you'll know the effort was worthwhile. Good luck, Exile!
