💎 The Backbone of High-End Crafting

In Path of Exile 2, the Fracturing Orb is non-negotiable for endgame crafting. It permanently locks a modifier in place, allowing crafters to build around it. Whether you are making a Gemini Bow, Dueling Wand, Maji Talisman, Solar Amulet, or Breach Ring, you need this orb.

Because of this constant demand, the price skyrockets mid-to-late season.

This guide will show you how to farm them efficiently using the "Immured Fury" strategy.

📍 The Source: Cleansed Maps

Fracturing Orbs do not drop in standard maps. They are found in "Cleansed Maps".

How to find them:

1. When you clear a Corrupted Map (Irradiated Map) on your Atlas, the surrounding maps turn into Cleansed Maps.
2. The Target: While regular monsters in these maps can drop the orb, we are hunting a specific icon on the map node: "Immured Fury".
3. The Guarantee: The Immured Fury is a special map boss. Killing it grants "greatly increased rewards," which in practice means a Guaranteed Fracturing Orb drop.

🛠️ Strategy 1: The Double Dip (Visions of Paradise)

Since finding an Immured Fury is rare, we must maximize the payout when we do find one. We use a specific Legendary Tablet to run the encounter twice.

The Setup:

• Tablet: Visions of Paradise (Legendary)
• Effect: "If Map was not previously Irradiated, completing Map adds Irradiation instead".

The Process:

1. Locate a Cleansed Map containing Immured Fury.
2. Plug in Visions of Paradise (and The Grand Project for speed/sustain).
3. Run the map and kill the boss. Drop #1.
4. Because of the Tablet, the map "re-completes" or adds Irradiation, effectively allowing you to loot the reward a second time (mechanically giving you two opportunities/drops from one spawn).

Result: You turn 1 Boss Spawn into 2 Fracturing Orbs.

👻 Strategy 2: The Spirit Bomb (Advanced Tech)

If you want to push your profits even further, you can combine the Boss strategy with Azmeri Spirits to multiply the drops.

The Setup:

• Tablet: A Rare Tablet with "Map contains 1 additional Azmeri Spirit".

The Execution (Requires Patience):

1. Enter the map and locate the Azmeri Spirit. DO NOT TOUCH IT YET.
2. Clear the surrounding area of all Rare/Elite monsters so the Spirit has nowhere to go.
3. Kite (drag) the Spirit all the way to the Immured Fury boss.
4. Allow the Spirit to possess the Boss.

Why do this? The Azmeri Spirit applies Wisps to the boss:

• Vivid Wisps: Increases Item Quantity.
• Primal Wisps: Increases chance to drop Currency Items.

Result: A Possessed Immured Fury has a significantly higher chance to drop additional Fracturing Orbs or other high-value currency on top of the guaranteed drop.
