In Path of Exile 2 0.5.0, many players are trying to unlock the full Atlas passive progression. The total reaches 335 points, but farming every map one by one is extremely time-consuming.
There is a much faster method. Instead of slowly clearing every single map, you can use the orange-beam boss encounters on the Atlas, convert their drops at the central tower, and then use the tower-top mechanic to mark large sections of the city as completed.
Look for orange light beams on the Atlas. These are not the red beams. The orange-beam nodes contain strong bosses. After killing one of these bosses, you can obtain two key items:
These items are the entry materials for the fast Atlas completion loop.

Search the Atlas for orange light pillars. Enter those nodes and defeat the strong boss inside.
After the boss dies, it can drop the Origin Cradle and Origin Light. You need these two items before you can proceed with the central tower mechanic.
Occasionally, the boss may also drop a double-ticket style item, which helps speed up the loop even more.
After obtaining Origin Cradle and Origin spark, go to the central tower.
First, go to the bottom of the tower and exchange the two items for an Origin Core. This Origin Core is what lets you activate the next step at the top of the tower.

After exchanging for the Origin Core, go to the top of the tower and interact with the mechanism there.
This will start a boss fight. The source post describes it as the boss from the Fire Pinnacle-style encounter.
Defeat the boss, but do not leave immediately afterward.
After the boss is defeated, several pillars will rise around the area. Each pillar corresponds to a district or section of the city on the Atlas.
When you press a pillar, all remaining maps in the corresponding district will be marked as completed.
This is the key to the strategy. Instead of clearing every map manually, you use the tower pillars to complete entire sections at once.
If there are maps in a district with valuable modifiers or rewards that you still want to run manually, clear those maps before pressing the corresponding pillar.
Once the pillar is activated, the remaining maps in that district will be converted into completed status, so you may lose the chance to run specific maps you cared about.
After a district is completed through the tower pillar, the final gatehouse-style maps in that area will remain locked or unfinished.
You only need to clear two gatehouse maps per region to finish that part of the Atlas progression.
After the first full setup, repeat the process:
According to the source notes, after the initial setup, completing this loop four more times can unlock nearly all regions except for the final gatehouse maps. At that point, you should already have more than 300 Atlas passive points.
Once the remaining gatehouse maps are cleared, you can finish the full 335 Atlas passive unlock.
